From storybook pages to kitchen tables.
We fell in love with Do Not Feed the Monkey — a delightful children’s cookbook by Marleen Lammers, brought to life by Anja Stoeckigt’s beautiful illustrations.
And, as we do at Greenie, we started thinking...
What if we could take these gorgeous characters off the page and into the kitchen?
Together with Penguin Random House South Africa, we’ve created a very special range of Frostie and Can-Can food covers featuring characters from the book.
But there’s a little more to this collaboration than beautiful covers.
We want little people to grow up knowing there are alternatives to everyday single-use plastics. That leftovers don’t need clingfilm. That small choices matter. And, most importantly, that going green can be colourful, practical and fun.
So grab the book, get cooking with Mitch and his friends, and when there’s something left for tomorrow... you know what to cover it with.
Cook. Cover. Read. Repeat.
